Automatic Profile Stacking System (Transverse Transfer Type)
This automatic profile stacking machine adopts a horizontal transfer structure to achieve smooth and fully automated profile handling from the conveyor line to the loading basket. The profile stacker integrates automatic profile alignment, counting, picking, transverse transfer, layer stacking, and spacer distribution functions to ensure stable and scratch-free basket loading throughout the production process.
This aluminum profile stacker is engineered to handle aluminum extrusion profiles from 3 m to 15 m. Longer profile handling capacities can be customized according to basket dimensions and plant layouts.
Compared with gantry or overhead profile stackers, the transverse type profile stacking system requires less vertical installation space, making it ideal for workshops with limited ceiling height or production lines requiring side transfer handling.

Process Flow
- Profile Accumulation & Counting: After cutting, aluminum profiles are transferred by roller conveyors to the alignment section, where the profiles are automatically arranged and counted according to the preset stacking requirements.
- Profile Picking: The system uses mechanical grippers or vacuum lifting devices to pick up the aligned profile layer smoothly and securely.
- Transverse Transfer: The transfer unit moves horizontally to position the profile layer above the target loading basket.
- Layer Stacking: The lifting mechanism lowers the profiles into the basket and places each layer accurately according to the stacking sequence.
- Automated Spacer Placement: Spacer bars are automatically inserted between profile layers to prevent surface scratching and ensure proper airflow during downstream processes.
